Plan the marathon, know when the credits roll
The Watch Time Calculator sums up the runtime of every film in your list and tells you exactly how long the marathon will take — including optional 15-minute breaks between features. Pair that with a start time and it tells you when you'll finish, even if the total pushes past midnight.
Useful for questions like:
- How long is the MCU? — 23 films, about 51 hours of screen time before Phase 4. See the MCU pack.
- Can I watch all of Lord of the Rings in a weekend? — Extended editions run ~11.5 hours. Three films, one Saturday. LOTR pack.
- If I start at 6 pm, when does the Dark Knight trilogy end? — Answer: 12:47 am, with no breaks. Batman pack.
Just search for titles, add them in the order you want to watch, and the running total appears beside each entry. Toggle 15-minute breaks if you need bathroom runs and snack refills. Paste in a start time in any format (18, 18:00, 6pm — all work) to see when the whole thing wraps.
Once your list is built, the URL encodes it — so you can share the exact marathon lineup with a friend. Useful for planning a movie night without texting titles back and forth. The pre-built franchise packs are starting points; you can customize any of them by hitting “Customize in Calculator” and then adding, removing, or reordering films.
